I am a rover operations preparator on the ExoMars program at the European Space Agency (ESA). In 2021, I was recognized by Forbes for their 30 Under 30 Europe ranking, then became a recipient of the International Giuseppe Sciacca Award for Science and Research. To top it all off, the Royal Aeronautical Society (the world's most respected aeronautical society) commended me for promise in the aerospace industry. In 2019, I graduated from the Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA) with a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. In 2020, I graduated from Politecnico di Torino with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering.

    ExoMars 2022 Rover Operations Preparator

    • Supporting ExoMars 2022 Rover operations preparation which is done together with the industrial Rover designers and manufacturers and the Rover scientists for the different phases of the Rover mission
    • Supporting scientists and engineers to prepare, run and analyse operational scenarios for the various mission phases after landing, including scenarios for driving off the Landing Platform (Rover egress phase)
    • Checking system resources (power, time, bandwidth) and orbiter communication, as well as coherence of the ground process against the detailed analysis from industry

    Systems Engineer for SEEDS Project Work

    • Collaborated with ESA, CNES, Thales Alenia Space, ALTEC, ISAE-SUPAERO, and the University of Leicester to work on the mission statement "From the Moon to Titan: habitat and logistics system design for space exploration. The Moon surface as proving ground for deep space exploration missions."
    • Designed lunar surface elements, laboratories, and innovative habitable modules, as well as cost evaluations associated to technological readiness assessments
    • Created conceptual design of technologies for Titan exploration by 2040, using a balloon and a drone, and definition of an optimized interplanetary trajectory

    Aerospace Engineer

    Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), Toulouse, France

    • Collaborated with IRAP and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to coordinate and execute research techniques, procedures, and tests for the mast pointing improvement of the rover Curiosity
    • Designed, developed and validated a photogrammetry software resulting in outstanding improvements to Curiosity’s ChemCam laser pointing, by 75% on average
    • Interpreted data from 100,000+ cells and analysed results using statistical processes to enhance Curiosity's camera errors understanding

    • Supported research to work on a CubeSat attitude determination and control system (ADCS)
